Team DGM 2025

Adam Brown

Home Course: Worthington Flats

Adam is all about Innova and wouldn’t bag a Prodigy disc. When things aren’t going his way, he pulls out an Innova Champion Destroyer to turn things around. His goal is to help run a few tournaments and introduce new players from his high school to the sport.

Jessop Bennett

Home Course: Whitehall

An MVP/Axiom enthusiast, Jessop turns to his Axiom Crave when he needs a slump buster. Dynamic Discs isn’t his cup of tea, but he’s always ready to throw down. His goal is to help out at tournaments so he can eventually run one himself, while also building strong relationships within the disc golf community.

Jacob Deitchley

Home Course: Brent Hambrick
A Discraft fan with a distaste for Lone Star (maybe?), Jacob turns to either a Calvin Destroyer or a Firebird when he needs a clutch shot. This season, he wants to avoid regressing, play to his full potential, and consistently fight for wins—hopefully getting one or two.

Dominic Fritsche

Home Course: Griggs
A Discmania thrower who prefers to avoid Latitude 64, Dominic relies on his trusty MD3 to get back on track after a bogey streak. His goals include hitting a 950+ rating, cashing in MPO more than once, and continuing to help grow the Columbus disc golf community—all while having fun.

Devin Herring

Home Course: Gordon Holton Memorial
A proud Lone Star thrower, Devin has no real least favorite brand. His go-to disc after a bogey? The Texas Ranger. His goal this year is to keep climbing the ratings toward 1000 and shoot above his rating whenever possible—and with sponsorship from one of the best disc golf stores around, he’s already off to a great start!

Noah Hutson

Home Course: Worthington Flats
The Crave is always a good to for Noah but anything will work as long as you keep him away form DiscMania. The goals on the year are to stay injury-free, make good friends, have a positive impact on the community, and learn something along the way.

Dylan Johnson

Home Course: Worthington Flats
Dylan has no strong brand loyalty but avoids Lonestar when possible. His go-to disc for a confidence boost? The straight-flying Envy. This year, he wants to introduce at least 15 new people his age to disc golf.

John Marxmiller

Home Course: Blendon Woods John supports Sacred, Negative, and Ocean Discs but avoids Lone Star due to their treatment of pro players (even though he admits their plastic is good). When in a slump, he turns to his Lone Star Middy. His goal is to meet new people, give discs away, shoot above his rating (even by a single point), and be part of a team that works together.

Jared Miller

Home Course: Marysville
Jared’s bag is a mix of Discmania and MVP, but you won’t find any Westside Discs in there! His go-to disc for a momentum shift? The MVP Dimension. His goal this year is simple: have a good time, make new relationships, and get at least one more person into the sport.

Richard Newman

Home Course: Raccoon Creek at Flory Park
An MVP loyalist who avoids Prodigy, Richard turns to his Fission Crave when he needs to reset his game. His main goal is to compete well and always remember to have fun. In case you're wondering, Richard is the guy in the sweatshirt

Brent Rosen

Home Course: Griggs
When he needs a reset, he trusts his Innova Nate Sexton 2021 Tour Series Firebird. His season goals? Improve his rating to 965+ and win the NADGT Championship.

Dustin Rankin

Home Course: Whitehall
Dustin stays loyal to MVP/Axiom and keeps his bag Discraft-free. When the pressure is on, he reaches for his Crave to regain confidence. Play 150 rounds, grow his social media following, and place in the top three at five tournaments.

Dylan Sandy

Home Course: Griggs
An Innova fan through and through, Sandy doesn’t vibe with Divergent Discs. When he needs to steady the ship, he grabs his Yeti Pro Aviar.

Wolfgang Sparks

Home Course: Glacier Ridge
Wolfgang’s bag is a 50/50 split between Innova/Infinite and MVP/Axiom/Streamline/TSA. He avoids Prodigy and Lonestar, and his comeback disc is a Sphinx, Dynasty, or TL3—just not his putter! This year, he aims to form strong friendships, improve his skills, contribute to DGM’s success as a local hub, help open new courses, and most importantly—have fun!

Matthew Avis Wright

Home Course: Eagle Ridge

Matthew’s slump buster? The Crave. This year, he’s focused on growing the local scene in Coshocton, improving his game, and continuing to develop Eagle Ridge.

Alex Miles

Home Course: Sahm Park

Alex Miles is pretty new to disc golf, but like many of us, he caught the addiction right away and his fire for the game burns hot.

When life dealt him a few rough hands in a row, Alex found balance and confidence in this game we have all come to love. Through the power of exercise & practice and the magic of disc golf in general, Alex was able to work through personal trauma and grow even more as a person.

His goal in 2025 is to meet new players and make new friends on the course while helping to further the overall goals of the DGM Sponsorship Team. He also wants to improve his putting and play some new courses.

Lee Wadlington

Preferred Local Course: Brookside Park

Meet the Pride of Engine #9: Lee Wadlington. A proud father of 8 children, a dedicated local firefighter, a decorated disc golfer, AND he's a lefty!

Lee has been a pillar in the Indianapolis Disc Golfing Community for just short of a couple decades. Over this time, he has provided countless hours of volunteer time at Sahm Park, helped facilitate the IDGC Monday night league at Sahm Park, worked one-on-one with local players to provide lessons, and even won a Championship Belt at the 2013 Checkered Flag Open.

Lee plays events and leagues with Indy Disc Golf Club, Anderson Disc Golf Club, and the Hamilton Disc Golf Union. He also helps run a winter indoor putting league near his home in Anderson and will be representing us at this year's World Police & Firefighter Games.

2x Tyler Fischer

Preferred Local Course: Fall Creek

If you've been to a league or tournament in Indianapolis, it's highly likely you've heard Tyler's voice from somewhere on the course.

Outgoing, outspoken, and outrageous: Tyler is the total package. Spend more than 2 minutes with him and it will be obvious that "2x" (pronounced "Two Time") feels right at home on any disc golf course and emphatically wants you to discover the glory of Thought Space Athletics.

Tyler plays events and leagues put on by all three of our local clubs and even has two MA2 Indiana State titles under his belt. (2x) This man's passion for the game emanates to anyone lucky enough to be within his [Nebula] Aura.

Nate Sharkey

Preferred Local Course: Hazel Landing

When Nate isn't shaping the young minds of Carmel High School in the ways of Chemistry I, he is either dying discs, throwing discs, or dying to throw discs.

As a Pre-Covid player who went through a recent revival, Nate is highly motivated to put plastic in other people's hands. So much so, that in 2024 he hosted his first tournament as TD when he brought the MVP Space Race to Dr. James A Dillon Park. The event sold out three times and more than 60 players walked away with new glow plastic and one unreleased mold.

Nate takes a lot of pride in his "unbelievable averageness" and believes that as a disc golfer who "isn't really terrible but also isn't really very good" he represents a large swath of the throwing population.

Ethan Moistner

Preferred Local Course: Hazel Landing

Ethan Moistner is an active player out of Noblesville who loves to share his knowledge of the game and discs he's already thrown. After picking up the game during the "Covid Boom," Ethan became enamored with the friendly competition and started playing in tournaments.

In addition to the five sanctioned events he played last year, Ethan also was one of DGM's most loyal tournament players. He participated in nearly every DGM event and even shared a victory in the inaugural Closed Bag Open!

We're over-the-moon about Ethan's ability to produce quality disc golf content, connect with strangers, explain the game in simple terms, and part with his own plastic. He donated over 60 discs in 2024 and in 2025 he is working with the municipality in his home town of Cambridge City, IN to establish a yearly charity tournament for the small community that he grew up in.

Katelyn Novak

Home Course: Morse Park

Katelyn Novak is a twin with perfect pitch and an imperfect putt. She started playing disc golf in 2023 and jumped in head first; playing eight sanctioned events as well as many of DGM's own tournaments in 2024.

Katelyn is passionate about welcoming more amateur women into the sport and providing them with a low-cost, low-stakes competitive opportunity. This year, she will be partnering with Stacie Rawnsley to produce this "League of Their Own" right here in Indianapolis.

You can find Katelyn around town enjoying multiple leagues and tournaments put on by all three local Disc Golf Clubs and DGM.

We've already been watching her grow as a player and can't wait to see even more development in 2025.

Josh Longest

Preferred Local Course: Fall Creek

Josh Longest is a talented mechanic and an avid tournament disc golfer. There's a wall in his house with every first run Kastaplast mold hanging proudly.

He's a founding member of the Lawrence Disc Golf Club and also plays in many of the events and leagues put on by Indy Disc Golf Club and the Hamilton Disc Golf Union.

Whether it's a course work day, coordinating payments or card assignments at league night, distributing tags, playing casual rounds, putting league or shopping for more plastic...if it's disc golf...Josh is there and he is a part of it.

We love Josh for his love of the grind. He practices, he participates, he tries and tries again. He shows up as much as anyone, helps newer players feel acclimated, and is well respected amongst Indianapolis disc golfers.

Nick Nacrelli

Preferred Local Course: Brookside Park

Nick Nacrelli is a staple of Indianapolis Disc Golf. He's a founding member of the Circle City Acers and a prominent player in the Indy Disc Golf Club.

There is nary a Course Work Day where you won't find Nick Nacrelli lending his time and muscles to amend and improve our beautiful local tracks. He takes personal pride and responsibility in maintaining the playable spaces for the betterment of all the players in the area.

As a new player at leagues, you'd be lucky to be on a card with Nick. He is very generous in spreading his vast wealth of knowledge with burgeoning throwers. Taking newbies under his wing is a natural Nacrelli move; assisting with course knowledge, bag set-up, disc selection, form, etc.

We're super pumped to have Nick's OG attitude and deep local roots on our side

Billy Plant

Preferred Local Course: Plant's Putterpalooza

We can hardly tell you how lucky we are to have Billy Plant as a part of Team DGM.

There's only a handful of private residential courses around, and Billy has provided Indianapolis with an incredibly unique and fun loop in the form of the venerable Plant's Putterpalooza!

Nearly every day of the year, Billy opens his own personal back yard to anyone that contacts him through UDisc and schedules a round. Plant's Putterpalooza offers 5 different types of baskets, including a sharpshooter basket and a basket that was carved from a tree stump!

In addition to offering up his property as a course, Billy puts on an annual charity tournament in his backyard and last year TD'd his first sanctioned tournament: HDGU's Dilly 5000.

Paul Smith

Preferred Local Course: Fall Creek

If you play disc golf in Indianapolis, it's really hard to NOT know Paul Smith. As much of a staple on any course as the trees themselves, Paul plays all the time. In 2023 and 2024, he logged more rounds than 99.5% of all players on UDisc.

This guy throws.

Besides playing all the time, you'd be hard pressed to find someone who knows more about discs themselves. A self proclaimed "Plastic Nerd," Paul's collection is extensive, expensive, and impressive. His knowledge of variations between plastic types within specific molds is also pretty robust, so if you're a new player who wants to know more about how discs fly...Paul is your guy.

In addition to being on the course frequently, there probably isn't anyone around who spends more time at Disc Golf Mart. Thanks for being a part of Team DGM, Paul!

Nick Gilmore

Preferred Local Course: Fall Creek

Simply put: Nick Gilmore is good people. This good hearted soul started playing the game during the "Covid Boom" and has never looked back.

Nick plays tournaments all over the midwest, from Hazy Shade BYOP to the Endicott St. Louis Open, in which he brough home the MA3 division victory in his very first year playing. If you're ever on his card, you'll see that he plays tournament rounds with the care-free atmosphere of a casual round with friends.

Nick loves to play in DGM's unsactionable events that are centered around uncomfortable disc golf choices and extremely good vibes. If you want to lose your money, challenge him to a round of "turbo-putts only" and be prepared to be humbled.

We're invested in Nick for his good-natured social ability to get along with any player he meets, his preference for keeping the game fun, and his upcoming "Nick's Picks CTP" program.

Mark Davis

Preferred Local Course: Washington Township Park

Mark Davis has been bagging stable mids since before you turned in your first elementary school assignment. He is our team member with the earliest PDGA number and our lone representation of the West side of Indianapolis.

Mark is one of the driving forces behind Disc Golf in Hendricks County. He hosts multiple leagues, including a winter indoor putting league on Thursday evenings at the Danville Town Hall.

Using his ample experience in the game and marketable social skills, Mark is able to connect with newer players to offer a guiding hand during that early journey that many of us struggle through when we first start playing.

In 2024, along with his doubles partner, teammate, Nick Gilmore, he took 3rd at the BC3 Fall Classic in a hilarious case of serendipitous foreshadowing.

Stacie Rawnsley

Preferred Local Course: Fall Creek

The pride of Fishers, IN...Stacie Rawnsley.

In the past 2 years, Stacie has made the Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship, won the High Country Open, was featured on the lead card for the final day of the 2024 Ledgestone Open, and released two Tour Series discs with Kastaplast.

She ranks 29th in the world amongst female disc golfers and finished 2024 with over $7000 in Disc Golf Pro Tour winnings.

We're beyond excited to be partnering with and supporting Stacie this year!

Caleb Arnold

Home Course: Griggs DGC
Caleb is a dedicated Innova fan who trusts his Star Destroyer to get him back on track after a rough stretch. Just don’t hand him a Lonestar disc! His goal this season is to place in the top 3 at a sanctioned tournament.
